    隨著社會上各種英語考試的改革與變化，根據(jù)教育部門對各層次
學(xué)員在外語學(xué)習(xí)上的要求，天津市學(xué)位委員會對成人高等教育本科畢
業(yè)生申請學(xué)士學(xué)位外語水平統(tǒng)一考試也做了修改，并于2007年秋季重
新頒布考試大綱與樣題。
    從考生和任課教師的需求出發(fā)，我們聞風(fēng)而動，爭分奪秒地修訂
了本教材，更換了題型，以滿足2008年考生的急切需要。更換的兩個
題型是會話理解和改錯，替代了原來的聽力理解，其分值和時間不變，
并增加了2005年、2006年考試兩套真題。   
    本教材自出版以來深受廣大教師和考生的喜愛，我們深信本教材
修訂后針對性更強，一定會更有效地幫助廣大考生順利通過考試并獲
得優(yōu)異成績。

Part I  Dialogue Comprehension (10%, 10 minutes)
Directions: In this section, you'll read 10 short conversations and four
choices marked A), B), C) and D). Try to understand the meaning of each
conversation and decide which one is the best answer.
1. M: Let's have a festival at the beginning of the school year to raise some
       money for the club.
   W: That's a good idea. That will get the ball rolling.
   Q: 'What does the woman mean?
   A) All the students would like a formal ball.
   B) Raising the money will be hard.
   C) The festival will begin the year nicely.
   D) The club needs some sports as well.
2. M: May I help you?
   W: Yes. I'd like to cash these traveler's checks first, and then open a
       savings account.
   Q: Where does this conversation probably take place?
   A) In a department store.        B) In a bank.
   C) At a tourist bureau.          D) At a hotel.
3. M: I think it's starting to snow.
   W: Starting to snow? The grounds are already covered.
   Q: What does the woman mean?

A) The winter has just begun.
   B) They're ready for the snow.
  C) Once it starts, it'll snow a lot.
  D) It has been snowing for some time.
4. W: John seems to have lost a lot of weight recently.
   M: Yes, he's been training hard with the soccer team.
   Q: What has John been doing?
   A) Trav. eling a lot.             B) Getting a lot of exercise.
   C) Working too hard.           D) Waiting for the training.
5. W: How do you like your new apartment?
  M: Well, it's quite nice really, although I'm having a hard time getting
       used to such a big building.
   Q: What's the man's problem?
   A) He can't find the new building.                        
   B) He had a bigger apartment before.
   C) He's not accustomed to the large building.
   D) He's having a hard time finding an apartment.
6. M: Have you ever put one of these together before?
   W: No, never. But I think if we carry out all these instructions exactly,
       we won't have any trouble.
