本書再版修訂與時(shí)俱進(jìn),體現(xiàn)了時(shí)代性。

張富生，華北水利水電大學(xué)教授，校哲學(xué)社會(huì)科學(xué)學(xué)術(shù)委員會(huì)委員，河南省社會(huì)科學(xué)院兼職研究員，校級(jí)教學(xué)名師（曾獲“汪胡楨獎(jiǎng)”）， “英語國(guó)家概況”省級(jí)一流本科課程線上線下混合式課程負(fù)責(zé)人，“英語國(guó)家概況”省級(jí)本科高校課程思政示范課程負(fù)責(zé)人。近年來主持、參與國(guó)家社科基金、省部級(jí)科研項(xiàng)目多項(xiàng)，出版譯著《文化河南》及“國(guó)際水文化譯叢”（《水概念》、《水倫理》、《水權(quán)利》、《水安全》、《水和平》、《國(guó)際水法》、《水緊缺》等），在《外語學(xué)刊》等學(xué)術(shù)刊物發(fā)表學(xué)術(shù)論文50余篇。創(chuàng)建有“英語國(guó)家研究網(wǎng)站” “英漢水文化術(shù)語語料庫”等。
